  1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors to Sutter Health in a professional and friendly manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
  3. Schedule appointments and manage patient schedules in a timely and accurate manner.
  4. Accurately register patients, collect insurance information, and verify demographic information.
  5. Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  7. Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
  8. Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries.
  9. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  11. Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring all patient needs are addressed.
  12. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and compassion in all interactions with patients and their families.
  13. Keep up-to-date with changes and updates in healthcare policies and procedures.
  14. Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the efficient operation of the Cardiology department.
  15. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Sutter Health in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Professional And Empathetic Manner.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Cardiology.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Insurance Processes.

  • Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records Systems And Other Relevant Software.

  • Ability To Multitask And Handle A High Volume Of Patient Inquiries, Appointments, And Administrative Tasks Efficiently And Accurately.
