- Serve as the first point of contact for all patient inquiries and concerns, providing timely and accurate assistance.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect relevant information for billing purposes.
- Maintain patient records and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide guidance and assistance to patients in navigating the healthcare system.
- Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Continuously strive to improve the patient experience and actively seek out ways to enhance services provided.
- Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality regulations to protect patient information.

Excellent Communication Skills: Patient Services Representatives Must Have Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Staff Members.
Customer Service Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Customer Service Role, As They Will Be Interacting With Patients And Their Families On A Daily Basis.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Solid Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Is Essential For A Patient Services Representative, As They Will Be Assisting Patients With Scheduling Appointments, Explaining Procedure Details, And Answering Questions Related To Their Healthcare.
Attention To Detail: Patient Services Representatives Must Have Strong Attention To Detail In Order To Accurately Input And Maintain Patient Information In Electronic Medical Records And Scheduling Systems.
Ability To Multi-Task: This Role Requires The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Duties In A Fast-Paced Environment. Candidates Should Be Able To Work Efficiently And Effectively Under Pressure.
