  1. Greet and welcome patients upon arrival, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
  2. Serve as the first point of contact for all patient inquiries and concerns, providing timely and accurate assistance.
  3. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Verify patient insurance coverage and collect relevant information for billing purposes.
  5. Maintain patient records and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
  6. Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
  7. Provide guidance and assistance to patients in navigating the healthcare system.
  8. Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  9. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  10. Continuously strive to improve the patient experience and actively seek out ways to enhance services provided.
  11. Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality regulations to protect patient information.
  12. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  13. Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Patient Services Representatives Must Have Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Staff Members.

  • Customer Service Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Customer Service Role, As They Will Be Interacting With Patients And Their Families On A Daily Basis.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Solid Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Is Essential For A Patient Services Representative, As They Will Be Assisting Patients With Scheduling Appointments, Explaining Procedure Details, And Answering Questions Related To Their Healthcare.

  • Attention To Detail: Patient Services Representatives Must Have Strong Attention To Detail In Order To Accurately Input And Maintain Patient Information In Electronic Medical Records And Scheduling Systems.

  • Ability To Multi-Task: This Role Requires The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Duties In A Fast-Paced Environment. Candidates Should Be Able To Work Efficiently And Effectively Under Pressure.
