- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Verify patient information and accurately register patients in the system.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Collect and process payments, including insurance co-pays and deductibles.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of all information.
- Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies and protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate communication with patients.
- Keep abreast of changes in healthcare policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Assist with training and mentoring new Patient Service Representatives.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
- Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring all needs are met.
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by supervisor.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably As A Patient Service Representative Or In A Similar Role
Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Plans, And Billing Processes
Excellent Customer Service And Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal
Proficient In Computer Skills, Including Experience With Electronic Medical Records And Scheduling Systems
