  1. Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner.
  2. Efficiently check patients in, collect necessary information and verify insurance coverage.
  3. Answer patient inquiries and provide accurate and helpful information.
  4. Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals with other departments as needed.
  5. Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records.
  6. Handle patient concerns and complaints in a timely and appropriate manner.
  7. Verify and process insurance authorizations and referrals.
  8. Collect and process payments from patients.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  10. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  11. Stay updated on all current policies and procedures related to patient access.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  13. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  15. Continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service to all patients and visitors.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education

  • Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Patient Registration Or Customer Service

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Verification Processes

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients And Medical Staff In A Professional Manner

  • Proficient In Computer Skills And Data Entry, With The Ability To Accurately Input And Retrieve Patient Information.
