  2. Accurately register patients and verify insurance information.
  3. Schedule appointments and procedures for patients, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing wait times.
  4. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns patients may have.
  5. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely patient flow.
  7. Adhere to all policies and procedures related to patient registration and scheduling.
  8. Verify patient eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and healthcare providers.
  11. Monitor and troubleshoot any issues related to patient registration and scheduling.
  12. Keep up-to-date with changes in insurance policies and procedures.
  13. Assist in training and mentoring new patient access representatives.
  14. Continuously strive to provide the highest level of care and customer service to patients and their families.
  15. Participate in departmental and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.
