
Orthopedic Technician
At Sutter Health, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a passionate individual with a commitment to providing quality patient care. The Orthopedic Technician will be responsible for assisting orthopedic surgeons in performing medical procedures and providing patient care.The ideal candidate will possess a combination of medical knowledge, technical aptitude, and patient care experience. They should be organized, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The Orthopedic Technician should have excellent communication skills and a strong patient-centered attitude.Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, completion of a Medical Assistant Program, and certification as a Medical Assistant. Previous experience as an Orthopedic Technician and in orthopedic surgery is strongly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with various orthopedic devices is a plus.
