
Occupational Therapist, Pediatric Rehab

- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to children with various developmental, physical, and cognitive disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs of each child.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and integrate therapy goals into overall treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify areas of improvement and create realistic goals for each child.
- Utilize evidence-based techniques and interventions to facilitate optimal development and independence in daily activities.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to provide education and support on how to best support the child's development and progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and trends in pediatric rehabilitation to provide the best quality of care for patients.
- Act as an advocate for children with disabilities and their families, promoting inclusion and accessibility in all aspects of life.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Program.
Valid State License To Practice Occupational Therapy.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In Pediatric Rehabilitation, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinic Setting.
Knowledge Of Developmental Milestones And Common Childhood Conditions, Such As Cerebral Palsy, Autism, And Sensory Processing Disorders.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Closely With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Family-Centered Care.
