  14. Advocate for patients and their needs within the healthcare system.

Job Qualifications
  • Graduate Degree In Occupational Therapy: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy Is Required For An Occupational Therapist Iii Position At Sutter Health. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Comprehensive Understanding Of The Field And The Skills Necessary To Provide High-Quality Care.

  • State Licensure: Candidates Must Possess A Valid License To Practice As An Occupational Therapist In The State Of California. This Ensures That The Therapist Has Met The State's Requirements For Education And Clinical Experience, And Is Qualified To Provide Patient Care.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Acute Care Experience: Sutter Health Is Seeking Candidates With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working As An Occupational Therapist In An Acute Care Setting. This Experience Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment And To Provide Specialized Care To Patients With Acute Conditions.

  • Advanced Certification: Candidates With An Advanced Certification In A Specialized Area Of Occupational Therapy, Such As Hand Therapy Or Neurorehabilitation, Will Be Given Preference For An Occupational Therapist Iii Position. This Certification Demonstrates A Commitment To Ongoing Education And Expertise In A Specific Area Of Practice.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As An Occupational Therapist Iii In Acute Care, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
