
OB Technician

- Prepare and maintain labor and delivery rooms for upcoming deliveries
- Assist in the delivery process by providing necessary supplies and equipment to healthcare providers
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Communicate with patients and their families, providing emotional support and addressing any questions or concerns
- Ensure the safety and comfort of both mother and baby during the delivery process
- Follow proper infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Document all procedures and observations accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients
- Assist with post-delivery tasks such as cleaning and restocking rooms and helping with newborn care
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in obstetrics to continuously improve patient care.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Completion Of An Accredited Ob Technician Program Or Equivalent Experience.
Current Certification As A Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Or Equivalent.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Ob/Gyn Surgical Setting.
Knowledge Of Sterile Techniques, Surgical Instrumentation, And Procedures Specific To Ob/Gyn Surgeries.
