  3. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of nurses, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  4. Ensure that all nursing staff are properly trained and equipped to provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based practices and protocols for the ICU department.

  8. Serve as a liaison between the ICU department and other departments within the healthcare organization.

  10. Represent the ICU department in meetings with senior management and participate in the development of organizational policies and procedures.
  11. Serve as a role model for nursing staff, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  13. Collaborate with human resources to recruit, hire, and train new nursing staff as needed.
  14. Participate in performance evaluations and make recommendations for promotions, salary adjustments, and disciplinary actions.
  15. Uphold and promote the mission, vision, and values of the healthcare organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Of California.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Registered Nurse In An Icu Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field; Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Healthcare Professionals.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Icu Policies, Procedures, And Best Practices, As Well As State And Federal Regulations.
