- Represent the ICU department in meetings with senior management and participate in the development of organizational policies and procedures.
- Serve as a role model for nursing staff, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Collaborate with human resources to recruit, hire, and train new nursing staff as needed.
- Participate in performance evaluations and make recommendations for promotions, salary adjustments, and disciplinary actions.
- Uphold and promote the mission, vision, and values of the healthcare organization.
Current And Active Rn License In The State Of California.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Registered Nurse In An Icu Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field; Master's Degree Preferred.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Icu Policies, Procedures, And Best Practices, As Well As State And Federal Regulations.
