Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Sutter Health Prefers Candidates Who Have Completed A State-Approved Cna Training Program And Have Obtained Certification, As It Ensures They Have The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Perform The Job Effectively.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: A Nursing Assistant At Sutter Health Is Required To Have A Current Bls Certification, As They May Be Called Upon To Provide Basic Life Support In Emergency Situations.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: While Not Always Required, Previous Experience As A Nursing Assistant Or In A Healthcare Setting Is Highly Desirable At Sutter Health. This Demonstrates A Candidate's Familiarity With Medical Procedures And Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.
