
Nurse Practitioner, ICU

- Provide high-quality and compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based care plans.
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans.
- Document all patient care and treatment in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on current healthcare practices and protocols.
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for other healthcare staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards.
- Attend and participate in meetings, trainings, and other professional development opportunities.
Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications
Current And Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License In The State Of California
Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Critical Care Or Acute Care
Certification As An Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Acnp) Or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Agacnp)
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In An Icu Setting
