- Operate and maintain MRI equipment to produce high-quality imaging services for patients.
- Conduct MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Monitor patients during scans to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues with equipment and report malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, equipment usage, and procedures performed.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of MRI images.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in MRI technology and techniques, and implement new practices as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following infection control and safety procedures.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Act as a resource and mentor to other staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal patient care.
- Represent Sutter Health in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Must Hold A Valid And Current Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Mri.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Mri Technician In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Proficient In Operating And Troubleshooting Mri Equipment, As Well As Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Procedures.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With A Strong Attention To Detail And The Ability To Multitask In A Fast-Paced Environment.
