  1. Perform MRI scans and procedures according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  2. Ensure patient comfort and safety during scans, including proper positioning and monitoring vital signs.
  3. Maintain and operate MRI equipment, including troubleshooting any technical issues.
  4. Collaborate with physicians to review and interpret images for accurate diagnosis.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures and patient information.
  6. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.
  7. Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies for the MRI department.
  8. Educate patients about the scan process and address any concerns or questions.
  9. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
  10. Continuously update and expand knowledge of MRI technology and techniques.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  12. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  13. Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  14. Keep work area clean and organized.
  15. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Mri Technologist: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) As An Mri Technologist.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field Is Required For This Position.

  • Experience In Mri Scanning: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Mri Technologist, With A Strong Understanding Of Mri Protocols And Procedures.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Mri Safety Procedures And Protocols To Ensure The Safety Of Patients And Staff.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Mri Technician, The Candidate Will Be Required To Interact With Patients From Diverse Backgrounds And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals, Therefore Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
