
Monitor Technician

- Monitor and interpret vital signs and cardiac rhythms of patients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure proper monitoring and care for patients.
- Recognize and report any abnormal or concerning changes in patient's vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
- Operate and maintain monitoring equipment, troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.
- Ensure patient safety and well-being by following established protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient monitoring data.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team regarding any changes or concerns in patient's condition.
- Provide support and assistance to nursing staff as needed.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Attend and participate in trainings and meetings as required.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills in monitoring techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education Required.
Completion Of A Formal Monitor Technician Training Program Or Equivalent Experience Preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification Required.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience As A Monitor Technician In An Acute Care Setting Preferred.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Interpret And Document Cardiac Rhythms Required.
