  1. Provide compassionate care to patients in need, ensuring their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
  2. Collaborate with other medical professionals to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
  3. Perform various administrative and clinical tasks, such as scheduling appointments, taking patient vitals, and assisting with minor medical procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate and organized patient records, adhering to all privacy and confidentiality regulations.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans and procedures.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  7. Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  8. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and participate in training and education programs as required.
  9. Demonstrate a positive and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families, creating a welcoming and comforting environment.
  10. Follow all policies and procedures of the organization, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  11. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and superiors.
  12. Provide support and assistance to the Urgent Care team, working collaboratively to ensure efficient and high-quality care for patients.
  13. Continuously strive to improve the patient experience and contribute to the overall success of the Urgent Care department.
  14. Stay updated on current medical practices and advancements, incorporating them into daily work to enhance patient care.
  15. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Sutter Health and actively contribute to the well-being of the communities we serve.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credential From An Accredited Institution

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In An Urgent Care Or Primary Care Setting

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Patient Care Procedures, And Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems

  • Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Professional And Compassionate Manner.
