- Provide high-quality and compassionate medical care to patients in rural areas.
- Perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining medical records.

Completion Of A Medical Assistant Program: Candidates For A Medical Assistant Ll Position At A Rural Health Clinic At Sutter Health Should Have Completed A Recognized Medical Assistant Program, Which Includes Coursework In Medical Terminology, Anatomy And Physiology, Clinical Procedures, And Medical Coding And Billing.
Certification: Many Employers, Including Sutter Health, Prefer To Hire Medical Assistants Who Are Certified By The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The American Medical Technologists (Amt).
