  2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, current medications, and test results.
  4. Assist with patient education by providing information and resources related to their condition and treatment plan.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking and ordering necessary supplies.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
  7. Effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members in a professional and compassionate manner.
  8. Utilize electronic health record systems to document patient information and schedule appointments.
  9. Participate in team meetings and provide input on improving processes and patient care.
  10. Flexibly work across various medical offices within the Sutter Health network, adapting to different environments and workflows.
  11. Stay updated on current medical practices and procedures through continuous education and training.
  12. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
  13. Collaborate with insurance companies and other healthcare organizations to ensure proper billing and timely reimbursement.
  14. Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing paperwork.
  15. Continuously demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Medical Assistant In A Clinical Setting.

  • Current Certification As A Medical Assistant (Cma) Through The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama).

  • Proficient In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Basic Computer Skills.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.
