  1. Provide exceptional care to patients and their families, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  2. Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, adapting to changing priorities and patient needs.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
  5. Perform various clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, collecting and preparing lab specimens, and assisting with procedures.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
  7. Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, displaying empathy and compassion.
  9. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all infection control and safety protocols.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and patient care, staying current with industry standards and best practices.
  11. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Sutter Health, promoting a positive and professional image.
  12. Adhere to all legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy.
  13. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

  15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or healthcare providers.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Medical Assistant Certification From A Recognized Institution.

  • Experience: Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Medical Assistant In A Family Medicine Setting Is Required.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records: The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Electronic Medical Records And Be Proficient In Navigating And Documenting Patient Information.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Procedures: A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Procedures And Equipment Used In A Family Medicine Setting Is Necessary.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For This Role As The Medical Assistant Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Doctors, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
