  1. Provide support to the healthcare team: The Medical Assistant II will be responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care.
  2. Perform clinical tasks: The Medical Assistant II will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and assisting with minor procedures.
  3. Maintain patient records: The Medical Assistant II will be responsible for accurately documenting patient information, including medical history, vital signs, and medications.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program, With A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Family Medicine Setting.

  • Current Certification As A Medical Assistant (Cma) Through A Recognized Organization, Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama).

  • Proficiency In Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner.

  • Knowledge Of Basic Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Equipment Used In A Primary Care Clinic.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Providers, And Other Healthcare Team Members.
