Completion Of A Medical Assistant Program: Candidates Must Have Completed A Certified Medical Assistant Program And Possess A Diploma Or Certificate.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Family Medicine Setting: The Ideal Candidate Will Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Medical Assistant In A Family Medicine Practice.
Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems: Familiarity With Emr Systems Is Essential For This Role, As Candidates Will Be Responsible For Accurately Documenting Patient Information And Updating Medical Records.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Medical Assistants In Family Medicine Settings Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association Or The American Red Cross. This Is Necessary To Provide Basic Emergency Care In Case Of A Medical Emergency.
