
Medical Assistant, Endocrinology

- Provide administrative and clinical support to physicians in the Endocrinology department.
- Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs, obtaining medical history, and updating electronic medical records.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are properly stocked and sanitized.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and accurately record results.
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate and organized patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Educate patients on procedures, treatments, and medications as directed by physicians.
- Act as a liaison between patients and physicians, relaying important information and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
- Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and overall quality of care.
- Stay updated on industry developments and attend training and workshops as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Certification As A Medical Assistant From An Accredited Program.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Medical Assistant In An Endocrinology Setting.
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records And Other Computer Systems.
Knowledge Of Endocrinology Terminology And Procedures.
Ability To Effectively Communicate And Work With Patients Of All Ages And Backgrounds.
