Manager, Research - Grants and Contracts

Sutter Health is seeking an experienced Manager, Research - Grants and Contracts to support our research teams and ensure the successful administration of research grants and contracts. The ideal candidate will have a combination of excellent project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of research administration.The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the pre- and post-award and research compliance activities, including grant and contract preparation, submission, and closeout, as well as the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with sponsor and organizational requirements. This individual will also manage the day-to-day operations of the Research Grants and Contracts office, provide guidance and support to research staff, and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of grant and contract submissions.The ideal candidate will be a creative, problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
