As the Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and compliance of our physician contracts.   1. Oversee and manage all aspects of physician contracts for Sutter Health, including creation, negotiation, and execution.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure successful contract management.
  3. Ensure all contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, as well as Sutter Health's policies and procedures.
  4. Monitor and track contract performance and compliance, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
  5. Collaborate with various departments, including legal, finance, and human resources, to ensure accurate and timely execution of contracts.
  6. Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in healthcare laws and regulations to inform contract management strategies.
  7. Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of contract documents.
  8. Train and mentor contract management staff to ensure consistent and effective practices.
  9. Develop and implement processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of contract management.
  10. Serve as a liaison between physicians and Sutter Health, addressing any concerns or issues related to contracts.
  11. Prepare and present reports on contract performance and compliance to upper management.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
  14. Adhere to strict deadlines and ensure timely completion of contract management tasks.
  15. Represent Sutter Health in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Contract Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Laws Related To Physician Contracting, Such As Stark Law And Anti-Kickback Statute.

  • Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Physicians And Other Stakeholders.

  • Experience Managing A Team And Overseeing Multiple Contracts Simultaneously.
