In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control and assurance processes in our laboratory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.   1. Develop and implement quality improvement strategies for the laboratory department.
  2. Oversee all aspects of laboratory quality control and assurance, including but not limited to equipment maintenance, proficiency testing, and standard operating procedures.
  3. Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and take corrective action as needed.
  4. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines, including those set by CLIA, CAP, and other accrediting bodies.
  5. Lead and manage a team of laboratory quality technicians and ensure their ongoing training and development.
  6. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify any potential issues and develop action plans to address them.
  7. Collaborate with other department managers and staff to ensure quality standards are met throughout the entire healthcare system.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in laboratory quality management, and implement changes as needed to maintain the highest level of quality.
  9. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on quality metrics and initiatives.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and external partners to ensure the quality of supplies and services used in the laboratory.
  11. Serve as a resource and mentor to laboratory staff on quality-related matters.
  12. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of quality data to relevant stakeholders.
  13. Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and streamline operations to enhance overall quality and efficiency in the laboratory.
  14. Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment in accordance with all safety protocols and guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Laboratory Science, Or Quality Management.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Laboratory Or Healthcare Setting, With A Focus On Quality Management And Process Improvement.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Laboratory Regulations And Accrediting Bodies Such As Clia, Cap, And Tjc.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Diverse Teams And Stakeholders.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Quality Improvement Initiatives, As Well As Analyzing And Interpreting Data To Drive Decision-Making And Achieve Measurable Outcomes.
