
Manager, Facilities Project Management

- Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure the timely and successful completion of facility construction projects.
- Oversee all aspects of project planning, design, and construction, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and facility managers, to understand project needs and requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure the highest quality of work and cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues or delays.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards for healthcare facilities.
- Develop and manage project budgets, including forecasting and cost control measures.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Manage and lead a team of project managers and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and mentoring as needed.
- Communicate project updates and status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness in project management.
- Act as a liaison between project teams, internal departments, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in healthcare facility construction and project management.
- Uphold the mission and values of Sutter Health, promoting excellence in patient care, education, and research through all project activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Facilities Setting.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Various Stakeholders.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Project Management Principles, Including Budgeting, Scheduling, And Risk Management.
Familiarity With Relevant Building Codes, Regulations, And Industry Standards, As Well As Experience With Construction And Renovation Projects.
