  1. Perform mammography procedures according to established protocols and standards to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  2. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions or concerns.
  3. Position patients correctly and adjust equipment settings to obtain clear and accurate images.
  4. Monitor patient's condition during and after the procedure, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images and assist with diagnosis.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  8. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.

  10. Provide support and guidance to patients and their families, addressing any concerns and providing education on the procedure and results.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is properly maintained.
  12. Follow established privacy and confidentiality policies when handling patient information.
  13. Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure accuracy and consistency in procedures.
  14. Actively participate in training and continuing education opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field

  • Certified And Licensed By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Mammography Imaging

  • Knowledge Of Current Mammography Equipment And Techniques, Including Digital Imaging And 3D Tomosynthesis

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients And Medical Staff
