  1. Perform mammography exams on patients following established protocols and procedures.
  2. Use knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients for optimal image quality.
  3. Ensure patient comfort and safety while performing mammography procedures.
  4. Operate and maintain mammography equipment, including quality control and preventative maintenance.
  5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to accurately interpret and report findings.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and communicate any abnormal findings to the appropriate personnel.
  7. Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in mammography technology and procedures.
  8. Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
  9. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, empathy, and compassion towards patients.
  10. Provide patient education and support regarding procedures, results, and any necessary follow-up care.
  11. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  12. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with maintaining accreditation standards.
  14. Assist with training and mentoring new Mammography Technologists.
  15. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified And Licensed In Mammography From An Accredited Institution.

  • Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Mammography Equipment.

  • Ability To Accurately Assess And Evaluate Mammogram Images For Abnormalities.
