- Perform mammography screenings and diagnostic procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Operate mammography equipment and ensure proper positioning and image quality.
- Review patient medical history and assess any potential contraindications for mammography.
- Provide education and instructions to patients regarding the mammography procedure and answer any questions or concerns.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure proper documentation of all procedures.
- Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to accurately interpret and report on mammography images.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or issues.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during their screenings.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and advancements in mammography technology and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records and data.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and improving the health of the community.
- Maintain certification and licensure in mammography and participate in continuing education to stay current in the field.

- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Mammography Technologist.
Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Mammography Equipment.
Valid Certification As A Mammography Technologist By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Knowledge Of Current Mammography Technology, Techniques, And Safety Protocols.
