- Ensure the comfort and well-being of patients during IV therapy sessions.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for administering IV therapy.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and response to IV therapy.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on IV therapy and proper care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
- Adhere to state and federal regulations and standards related to IV therapy.
- Attend and participate in ongoing training and education related to IV therapy and nursing practices.
- Report any changes in patient condition or adverse reactions to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with patients and their families.
- Continuously strive to improve patient care and outcomes through quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a valid LVN license and IV therapy certification.

Active Lpn Or Lvn License In The State Of California
Completion Of An Iv Certification Program Approved By The Board Of Vocational Nursing And Psychiatric Technicians
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience As A Lvn, Preferably In A Hospital Or Acute Care Setting
Knowledge And Proficiency In Administering And Monitoring Iv Therapies, Including Central Lines And Peripheral Ivs
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Team-Oriented Environment.
