- Oversee and lead the team of IR technologists to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Mentor and train new IR technologists to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of interventional radiology and implement them in daily practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and coordinated patient care throughout the entire healthcare system.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following infection control and safety protocols.
- Perform interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to, angiograms, biopsies, and catheter placements.
- Monitor and assess patient's condition during procedures and provide necessary care and support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and update electronic medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work closely with the Radiologist and other physicians to evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide education and support.
- Assist in the procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies necessary for IR procedures.
- Handle and resolve any patient or equipment-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and serve as a positive role model for the team.
- Adhere to Sutter Health's mission, vision, and values to provide exceptional patient care and uphold the organization's reputation.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Diagnostic Imaging Technology, Including X-Ray, Ct, Mri, And Ultrasound.
Strong Leadership Skills And Previous Experience In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Work Effectively With A Diverse Team.
In-Depth Understanding Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Regulatory Requirements.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Ir Technologist, With A Demonstrated Track Record Of Delivering High-Quality Patient Care.
