  1. Conduct diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures using advanced imaging techniques and minimally invasive procedures.
  2. Work closely with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive and comfortable experience.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in interventional radiology and implement them in practice.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, treatments, and progress.
  6. Collaborate with referring physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  7. Ensure that all procedures are performed safely and with the highest level of quality and accuracy.
  8. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, procedures, and aftercare instructions.
  9. Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  10. Adhere to all medical and ethical standards, policies, and procedures of Sutter Health.
  11. Continuously strive to improve the quality of care provided to patients.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients and colleagues.
  13. Participate in research studies and clinical trials to contribute to the advancement of interventional radiology.
  14. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, including residents and fellows.
  15. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  16. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  17. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  18. Participate in on-call rotations and emergency procedures as needed.
  19. Attend conferences and seminars to stay updated on the latest developments in interventional radiology.
  20. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department or organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field

  • Current Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Interventional Radiology Procedures

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Anatomy

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
