- Provide exceptional care to patients in accordance with Sutter Health's standards and policies.
- Perform a variety of pharmacy-related tasks within an inpatient setting, such as medication preparation, inventory management, and dispensing.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy for patients.
- Accurately enter and maintain patient and medication information in electronic health records.
- Monitor medication storage and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in the procurement, storage, and distribution of medications and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding medication-related inquiries.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards, including patient confidentiality and data protection.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Collaborate with other pharmacy technicians and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or pharmacy manager.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Credential From The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As A Pharmacy Technician In An Inpatient Or Hospital Setting.
Ability To Accurately And Efficiently Manage Medication Orders, Including Interpretation Of Physician Orders, Preparation Of Medications, And Proper Documentation.
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Laws And Regulations, Including Controlled Substance Handling And Inventory Management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Healthcare Team Members And Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Patients.
