  1. Ensure safe and efficient delivery of medication to inpatient units.
  2. Utilize strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals to accurately and efficiently fill medication orders.
  3. Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide top-notch care to patients.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely medication delivery.
  5. Perform medication inventory management and restocking to ensure adequate supply levels.
  6. Utilize computer systems and software to accurately document and track medication orders and inventory.
  7. Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines to maintain compliance.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
  9. Assist in training and mentoring new pharmacy technicians.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and staying updated on industry developments and advancements.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Typically Required For A Inpatient Pharmacy Technician Ii Position At Sutter Health.

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification: Many Employers, Including Sutter Health, Prefer Candidates Who Have Completed A Certified Pharmacy Technician Program And Hold A Cpht Certification. This Certification Demonstrates A Level Of Expertise And Knowledge In The Field.

  • Previous Experience In An Inpatient Pharmacy Setting: Sutter Health Seeks Candidates Who Have Previous Experience Working In An Inpatient Pharmacy. This Experience Can Provide A Strong Foundation In Understanding Medication Management, Inventory Control, And Other Essential Tasks Required In This Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medication And Pharmacy Terminology: Inpatient Pharmacy Technician Ii Positions Require A Thorough Understanding Of Medication Names, Dosages, And Classifications. Candidates Should Have A Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacy Terminology And Be Able To Accurately And Efficiently Process Prescriptions.
