
Imaging Technician Assistant

- Assist in the operation of imaging equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality images are obtained for patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Work closely with the imaging team to provide exceptional patient care and support during procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking and cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate staff.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to provide clear and accurate information.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize basic computer skills to navigate electronic medical records and input patient data.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and procedures.
- Attend and participate in training and educational opportunities to stay updated on medical imaging technology and techniques.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position. Candidates With Additional Education Or Certification In The Medical Field May Be Given Preference.
Experience In Medical Imaging: Previous Experience Working In A Medical Imaging Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Imaging Center, Is Highly Preferred. This Experience May Include Handling Equipment, Assisting With Procedures, And Interacting With Patients.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Be Familiar With Common Imaging Procedures And Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Medical Staff And Patients.
Attention To Detail: Imaging Technician Assistants Must Be Detail-Oriented In Order To Accurately Prepare And Maintain Imaging Equipment, Review Patient Information, And Ensure Patient Safety During Procedures.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: This Position Requires Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills In Order To Effectively Assist Imaging Technicians And Interact With Patients. Candidates Must Be Able To Work Well In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment And Be Able To Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
