- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the health information management department.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all health information management processes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, including setting goals, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Stay up-to-date on all healthcare regulations and ensure compliance within the department.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure they are knowledgeable and compliant with all regulations and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the department's operations.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and events.
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of the department's operations.
- Collaborate with other managers and leaders within the organization to achieve overall business goals.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on department activities and performance.
- Communicate with various stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Identify and address any issues or concerns related to health information management processes or operations.
Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Him, With At Least 2 Years In A Managerial Or Leadership Role.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Him Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Including Hipaa And State/Federal Laws.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team.
Demonstrated Proficiency In Electronic Health Record Systems And Other Health Information Technologies.
