  1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the health information management department.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all health information management processes.
  3. Provide leadership and guidance to the team, including setting goals, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive work culture.
  4. Stay up-to-date on all healthcare regulations and ensure compliance within the department.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors.
  7. Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  8. Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure they are knowledgeable and compliant with all regulations and processes.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the department's operations.
  10. Represent the organization at industry conferences and events.
  11. Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of the department's operations.
  12. Collaborate with other managers and leaders within the organization to achieve overall business goals.
  13. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on department activities and performance.
  14. Communicate with various stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of high-quality patient care.
  15. Identify and address any issues or concerns related to health information management processes or operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Him, With At Least 2 Years In A Managerial Or Leadership Role.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Him Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Including Hipaa And State/Federal Laws.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team.

  • Demonstrated Proficiency In Electronic Health Record Systems And Other Health Information Technologies.
