- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health Information Management (HIM) department.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines related to health information management.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the highest levels of quality and efficiency in the HIM department.
- Manage and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support in their roles.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely retrieval and management of patient information.
- Monitor and analyze department metrics and data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations related to health information management.

Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Health Information Management, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.
Strong Understanding Of Him Laws And Regulations, Including Hipaa And State-Specific Guidelines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Healthcare Professionals And Stakeholders.
Proficient In Electronic Health Record Systems And Other Health Information Technology, With A Track Record Of Implementing And Optimizing Such Systems In A Healthcare Setting.
