- Ensure the safety and functionality of the facility by promptly addressing any maintenance issues or concerns.
- Maintain and update facility maintenance logs and records.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for repairs and maintenance services.
- Monitor and order necessary supplies and equipment for facility maintenance.
- Train and mentor junior facility technicians in proper maintenance procedures.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential hazards and address them promptly.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to develop and implement maintenance plans and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients and their families.
- Continuously assess and improve facility maintenance processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Report any major maintenance issues or concerns to the facilities management team.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and new developments in facilities maintenance.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Facility Maintenance Or Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Building Systems, Including Hvac, Plumbing, Electrical, And Carpentry.
Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints And Technical Manuals.
