
Exercise Physiologist- Cardiac Rehab

- Conduct initial assessments of patients' cardiovascular health and develop personalized exercise plans based on their medical history and current condition.
- Monitor and supervise patients during exercise sessions, ensuring safety and proper form.
- Educate patients on the importance of physical activity and how it can improve their overall health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of patients' progress and adjust exercise plans as needed.
- Stay current with industry research and best practices in exercise physiology to continuously improve patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment and exercise areas.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their recovery journey.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other team members to ensure a positive and collaborative care experience.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, billing, and maintaining patient records.
- Attend regular team meetings and participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Or A Related Field.
Certification From The American College Of Sports Medicine (Acsm) Or Other Relevant Professional Organization.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Cardiac Rehabilitation Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Exercise Prescription For Various Cardiac Conditions.
Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
