- Develop and implement a comprehensive philanthropic strategy for Sutter Health that aligns with the organization's mission and values.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations, to secure major gifts and donations.
- Lead and oversee all fundraising efforts, including annual campaigns, donor events, and major gift solicitations.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and prioritize funding needs and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Sutter Health's programs and services to effectively communicate impact and outcomes to potential donors.
- Manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in philanthropy and utilize this knowledge to inform fundraising strategies.
- Work closely with the executive team to set and achieve fundraising goals and objectives.
- Oversee and manage the philanthropy budget, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Represent Sutter Health at community events and networking opportunities to promote philanthropic efforts and build relationships with potential donors.
- Serve as a spokesperson for Sutter Health's philanthropic initiatives, effectively communicating the organization's impact and needs to various audiences.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions and contributions.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on philanthropic activities and progress towards goals.
- Act as a steward of Sutter Health's reputation by upholding ethical and professional standards in all interactions with donors and stakeholders.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Fundraising And Philanthropy, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Nonprofit Organization.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Major Fundraising Campaigns And Cultivating Donor Relationships.
Strong Understanding Of Philanthropy Best Practices And Current Trends In The Healthcare Industry.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Diverse Team And Build Relationships With High-Level Donors And Community Leaders.
