- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and laws.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks within the workplace.
- Work closely with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and create awareness of potential safety hazards.
- Provide training and resources to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
- Investigate and document any accidents, injuries, or incidents and make recommendations for prevention in the future.
- Monitor and maintain safety equipment and emergency response plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement emergency preparedness plans.
- Conduct environmental health assessments and implement strategies to reduce potential health risks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and promote best practices.
- Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety and environmental health.
- Serve as a resource for employees and management regarding safety and environmental health concerns.
- Participate in safety committees and meetings to provide guidance and support.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and regulatory agencies during inspections or audits.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Environmental Health And Safety, Including Osha, Epa, And Nfpa.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Environmental Health And Safety, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Risk Assessment And Management, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Hazards.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees At All Levels On Environmental Health And Safety Protocols.
