  1. Assist healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  2. Perform vital signs, EKGs, and other basic medical procedures accurately and efficiently.
  3. Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to healthcare team.
  4. Keep patient rooms and equipment clean and organized.
  5. Assist with patient transport and transfers as needed.
  6. Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare team.
  7. Follow established protocols and procedures for maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.
  8. Remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  10. Assist with stocking and restocking of supplies and equipment.
  11. Document patient care accurately and timely.
  12. Attend trainings and maintain current knowledge and skills in emergency procedures and protocols.
  13. Provide comfort and support to patients and their families during their time of need.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  15. Display a positive and professional attitude towards patients, colleagues, and visitors.
  16. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  17. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  18. Serve as a role model for professionalism and patient-centered care.
  19. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA regulations.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by the Emergency Department Manager or healthcare team.

Job Qualifications
