- Conduct EEG tests and other neurodiagnostic procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of all equipment used in neurodiagnostic procedures.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.

- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in neurodiagnostic technology and techniques.

Bachelor's Degree In Neuroscience Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Neuroscience Is Essential For An Eeg Technologist To Understand Brain Function And Be Able To Interpret Eeg Results Accurately.
Certification From Abret Or Other Recognized Organization: Most Hospitals And Healthcare Facilities Require Eeg Technologists To Be Certified By The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret) Or A Similar Organization. This Ensures That The Technologist Has Met Rigorous Standards And Is Qualified To Perform Eeg Tests.
Experience In Performing Eeg Tests: Employers Prefer Candidates Who Have Hands-On Experience In Performing Eeg Tests. This May Include Experience Gained Through Internships, Clinical Rotations, Or Previous Employment.
Knowledge Of Eeg Equipment And Software: Eeg Technologists Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Equipment And Software Used To Perform Eeg Tests. This Includes Knowledge Of Eeg Machines, Electrodes, Amplifiers, And Computer Software Used To Record And Analyze Eeg Data.
