We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate EEG Technologist/Neurodiagnostic Technician to join our team and help us continue our mission of improving the lives of those we serve.As an EEG Technologist/Neurodiagnostic Technician at Sutter Health, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. You will work closely with our team of neurologists and other healthcare professionals to perform and interpret electroencephalograms (EEGs) and other neurodiagnostic tests.We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, technically proficient, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A degree in EEG technology or a related field, along with certification from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET), is required for this role.If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and have a strong background in EEG technology, we invite you to apply for this position and join our dynamic team at Sutter Health.

  1. Perform and interpret electroencephalograms (EEGs) and other neurodiagnostic tests accurately and efficiently.
  2. Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders.
  3. Maintain a high level of technical proficiency and stay up-to-date with advancements in EEG technology and techniques.
  4. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during EEG procedures.
  5. Maintain accurate and complete records of patient information and test results.
  6. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
  8. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding EEG procedures and results.
  9. Maintain equipment and supplies and report any issues or malfunctions.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  11. Attend continuing education and training programs to maintain certification and enhance skills.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  13. Represent Sutter Health in a professional and compassionate manner at all times.
  14. Assist with training and mentoring new EEG Technologists/Neurodiagnostic Technicians.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of Sutter Health.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Neurodiagnostics, Neurology, Or Related Field.

  • Certification As A Registered Eeg Technologist (R. Eeg T.) Or Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist (R. Nd T.) Through Abret.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Performing Eegs And Other Neurodiagnostic Procedures.

  • Knowledge Of A Variety Of Neurodiagnostic Equipment And Ability To Troubleshoot Technical Issues.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients And Healthcare Team Members.
