  1. Design and implement data center network infrastructure to meet the organization's needs and standards.
  2. Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of data center networks.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement network improvements and upgrades.
  5. Ensure data center network security and compliance with industry regulations.
  6. Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data center networking technology.
  8. Conduct regular network audits to identify areas for improvement.
  9. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and end-users.
  10. Proactively identify and address potential network risks and vulnerabilities.
  11. Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  12. Assist with the procurement of network equipment and services.
  13. Work with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.
  14. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data center networks with other systems and applications.
  15. Contribute to the development and implementation of network policies and procedures.
  16. Train and mentor junior network engineers.
  17. Continuously evaluate and optimize network performance to meet business needs.
  18. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  19. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
  20. Uphold Sutter Health's mission, vision, and values in all aspects of work.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Data Center Networking, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Network Hardware And Software, Including Cisco And Juniper Routers And Switches.

  • Strong Understanding Of Network Security Protocols And Best Practices.

  • Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Network Issues, As Well As Design And Implement Network Upgrades And Expansions.
