  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT technology according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures by properly positioning them and providing clear instructions.
  3. Monitor patients for any adverse reactions and take appropriate action if necessary.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including images and other relevant information.
  5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess and interpret images for diagnostic purposes.
  6. Ensure the proper functioning of CT equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to prevent the spread of infection and ensure a safe work environment.
  8. Keep up-to-date with advancements in CT technology and techniques to provide the best possible care to patients.
  9. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  11. Assist with scheduling and patient flow to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  12. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  13. Train and mentor new staff members as needed.
  14. Act as a patient advocate and address any patient concerns or questions regarding procedures.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: A Ct Technologist At Sutter Health Should Possess A Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Computed Tomography.

  • Relevant Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Ct Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Diagnostic Imaging Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Ct Equipment And Be Able To Troubleshoot Technical Issues That May Arise.

  • Attention To Detail: Ct Scans Require A High Level Of Precision And Attention To Detail. Candidates Should Demonstrate The Ability To Produce Accurate And High-Quality Images.

  • Interpersonal And Communication Skills: A Ct Technologist Must Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. They Should Also Be Able To Explain Procedures And Answer Any Questions From Patients.
