  • Develop and implement clinical programs and initiatives within the surgery department.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patients, and community organizations.
  • Lead and supervise a team of nurses and support staff to ensure seamless operations and efficient delivery of care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in healthcare regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of clinical staff.
  • Act as a liaison between the surgery department and other departments within the organization.
  • Facilitate and participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and committees.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to manage budget and expenses related to clinical programs.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for clinical staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of clinical program activities and outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify areas for improvement in clinical processes and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing compassionate and empathetic care.
  • Uphold the values and mission of Sutter Health in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License In The State Of Employment.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing With A Focus On Perioperative Nursing.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Surgical Setting, Including Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Certification In Perioperative Nursing (Cnor) Preferred.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures And Protocols, As Well As Regulatory And Accreditation Requirements.
