  1. Provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families during times of crisis.
  2. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  3. Conduct spiritual assessments and provide appropriate interventions.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care for patients.
  5. Serve as a spiritual resource for patients, families, and staff.
  6. Facilitate spiritual rituals and ceremonies as needed.
  7. Respect and adhere to diverse spiritual and cultural beliefs.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and privacy for patients and families.
  9. Document and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team.
  10. Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of spiritual and religious practices.
  11. Adhere to professional and ethical standards.
  12. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to patient care plans.
  13. Provide spiritual support during end-of-life care.
  14. Advocate for patients' spiritual needs and preferences.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients and colleagues.
  16. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
  17. Collaborate with community resources to provide additional support and resources for patients.
  18. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  19. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
  20. Serve as a role model for spiritual and emotional well-being.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Divinity, Theology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience As A Chaplain In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Ordination Or Endorsement By A Recognized Religious Organization.

  • Knowledge Of And Sensitivity To Diverse Religious And Spiritual Beliefs.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Provide Emotional And Spiritual Support To Patients And Their Families.
