  1. Perform phlebotomy techniques: The Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Laboratory Assistant II will be responsible for performing various phlebotomy techniques to collect blood samples from patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Certification As A Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Cpt) From An Accredited Organization Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).

  • Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Is Required, With Additional Training In Phlebotomy Techniques And Procedures. Candidates With An Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field May Be Given Preference.

  • Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomy Technician In A Healthcare Setting. Previous Experience In A Laboratory Environment Is Also Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Safety And Quality Standards: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Quality Standards Related To Phlebotomy Procedures, Including Proper Handling And Disposal Of Specimens, Infection Control, And Patient Confidentiality.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Interact Effectively With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Laboratory Staff. Attention To Detail, Empathy, And Patience Are Also Important Qualities For This Role.
