Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Is Required, With Additional Training In Phlebotomy Techniques And Procedures. Candidates With An Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field May Be Given Preference.
Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomy Technician In A Healthcare Setting. Previous Experience In A Laboratory Environment Is Also Preferred.
Knowledge Of Safety And Quality Standards: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Quality Standards Related To Phlebotomy Procedures, Including Proper Handling And Disposal Of Specimens, Infection Control, And Patient Confidentiality.
