Completion Of An Accredited Phlebotomy Training Program: A Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Cpt) Laboratory Assistant Ii At Sutter Health Should Have Completed A Recognized Phlebotomy Training Program, Ensuring They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform Blood Draws And Other Laboratory Procedures Accurately And Safely.
Certification As A Cpt: In Addition To Completing A Phlebotomy Training Program, Candidates For A Cpt Laboratory Assistant Ii Position At Sutter Health Should Hold A Current Certification As A Cpt From A Recognized Certifying Agency, Such As The National Healthcareer Association Or The American Society For Clinical Pathology.
Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting: A Cpt Laboratory Assistant Ii Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Environment, As They Will Be Responsible For Performing A Variety Of Laboratory Tasks, Including Specimen Processing And Handling, Equipment Maintenance, And Quality Control Procedures.
